WHERE CAN I BOOK A RENTAL CAR IN BOLZANO?
The only airport in South Tyrol is located on the outskirts of Bolzano. At this point, the closest international airports are Innsbruck Airport to the north and Verona Airport to the south. Bolzano originally ruled by the bishops of Trent, was conquered in the 13th century by the counts of Tyrol, thus passing to the German-speaking part of the Alps. It remained under Habsburg rule until 1918, when it was annexed to Italy.

If you are traveling from the south, it is advisable to exit at “Bolzano Sur” and park your car at the Fair. From there there are public buses to the center every 15 minutes or by train every 30 minutes.
Coming from the north: it is advisable to exit at “Bolzano Norte” and park in a parking lot in the area, the center of Bolzano is just a few minutes’ walk away.
